Killing Weeds
Weeds, every yard and garden has them. They are everywhere and everyone wants to know how to kill weeds. Let me clarify some things first, this is not about how to kill Weeds the television show. If you are looking for something on that, I can’t help you. Mostly because its a damn good show and I will not be a part of any campaign to bring it down. Also if you are looking for something to kill weed, the awesome drug that you smoke that comes from a marijuana plant, you will not find any help on that either. That is also something that I will not be a part of. Idiots.
Anyways, back to the subject of how to kill weeds that grow in your yard or garden or whatever. One great method to kill weeds has stood the test of time. It is the most simple solution and if you haven’t thought of it or even tried it then you are stupid. You can just yank them right out of the ground. Killing weeds by pulling them is not fun, its hard work and well it basically sucks. However killing weeds by this method is free so you can’t beat that. If you pull weeds on a regular basis it will keep them under control. They also sell various different tools that can help you but that negates the whole being free thing.
Another method that kills weeds is a homemade weed killer. It uses simple ingredients that can usually be found around the house. You will need:
- All purpose outdoor sprayer
- One gallon of white vinegar
- One cup of salt
- Two tablespoons of liquid dish detergent
Once you have all of these mix them together in the all purpose sprayer thing. You then spray them directly on the weeds and they will die. It is also useful to spray them it in the cracks in the sidewalk and what not. Be warned though, this will kill just about any plant. So make sure to just spray it on the weeds you want to kill.
Putting boiling water on the weeds is said to kill them but I haven’t tried it so don’t quote me on it. Another homemade method is mixing about four cups of water and a few tablespoons of alcohol in an outdoor sprayer, again I haven’t tried this one so don’t blame me if it don’t work.
There are also plenty of different chemical weed killers out there. This will work well it just depends on how much you want chemicals hanging out in your yard. Here are some good ones:

- Triple Threat
- Zap-It Weed Killer
- Weed Easy
If you are too damn lazy to be bothered with killing weeds yourself then you can also hire a gardener or some desperate neighborhood kid to take care of it for you.
